I am grateful for a less then 30 minute commute. Had a frisbee game in Brighton, MA today…took us 2 hours to get there, played for just over an hour, 30 minutes to get out due to construction on bridges and an hour fifteen to get home.

Day 79: 365 Grateful, car radio
I am grateful for my car radio…so many good songs this morning!! Got pumped before work this morning. Thanks 92.5 The River!
Day 49: 365 Grateful, 4 wheel drive
I am grateful to have access to 4 wheel drive. Snowy days like today (another 12″+) I am glad to have the availability of Mike’s truck. It took my 30 minute drive 1:15…with getting through accident traffic, patience and enjoying NPR along the way…just inching along. On the other side my Civic can barely do the 2 miles from downtown…and definitely can’t get up the driveway. Maybe invest in snow tires? Or Mike could maybe walk ski or sled to work!
Day 17: 365 Grateful, commute
I am grateful to have a reasonable commute. I typically take the back road to enjoy the ride, view and the lower volume of traffic. Though, if I am running late I can hop on the highway, pay the toll and make up a few minutes.
