Wonderful sunshiny above freezing day (finally)!
Loved watching the rainbow water droplets drip from the branches.
One of my coworker’s husband was available to shovel our roof (with very reasonable rates)…we were worried about tomorrow’s warm temperature and the possibility of rain. Though nothing probably would have happened…it’s nice to have peace of mind.
So grateful to have our house! Took some time this afternoon to rake the front roof…it’s hard to reach since it is 1.5 stories off a sloping hill down with snow that comes past my knees! We did our best…only could reach 1.5′. Some elimination of snow is better then none!
Glad to be home after a long snowy Monday…I was feeling like we live in a snow globe. Grateful for Mike’s truck for safe travels. And Grateful for mike clearing snow throughout the day! Happy 7 year SARS!
Got a few more inches today (in top of the stuff we got on Tuesday). Glad I was able to take a good hour to buckle down clear the driveway, walkway, deck and wood stack area! Also made a fire and cleaned up the kitchen. Work today, play tomorrow!
Over the past two and a half days New England got some snow. Though not as bad as predicted…but 20+ inches at our house without drifts.
Since I am essential personnel at the hospital I made a conscious effort to be at work…but be safe doing it.
I am grateful to have wonderful friends: Matt & Alexa who let me stay with them and also fed me (much yumminess). I am grateful to have been safe in my travels and the short commute over the past couple days.
We are supposed to get hit with a lot of snow the beginning of the week! Making plans to stay in Concord one or two nights.
We are grateful to check in on our home and Elwyn when we are away. And we missed our first snow! Hope there are no trees on our house!
I am grateful to have access to 4 wheel drive. Snowy days like today (another 12″+) I am glad to have the availability of Mike’s truck. It took my 30 minute drive 1:15…with getting through accident traffic, patience and enjoying NPR along the way…just inching along. On the other side my Civic can barely do the 2 miles from downtown…and definitely can’t get up the driveway. Maybe invest in snow tires? Or Mike could maybe walk ski or sled to work!
