Yesterday was my 34th birthday! Mike and I took the day off to do something. I decided to go to Maine…our first stop was the DMV in (NH) to renew my license. Then we set out for Ogunquit, ME to walk the beach
Get some lunch in Portland.
and walk around Freeport (and got some deals (and went to Maine Beer Company after!)
Life is Good.
This evening a Mike went to the NHPR Trivia Throwdown with work. I got take-our sushi, had a couple of glasses of wine, and caught up on TV. Not a bad Friday night!
Mike has been waiting all week for his (our) Pax East passes to arrive. Today’s the day! Should be fun…Mike looks forward to this event each year!
I am grateful to have a kitty and a Mike to come home to. I have had a cold for a couple days so it was nice to have Elwyn welcome me home. We have been able to have some quality snuggle time since Mike worked late tonight.
Last night Mike and I were talking about waffles. He said he would make them for me in the morning…Thursday morning. Not that I didn’t believe him but we don’t put a really big effort into making breakfast during the week. I eat when I feel like it/feel like I have the time and most weekdays. Mike typically has black coffee. I am grateful for the simple promise of waffles this morning (of course with peanut butter!)
I am grateful for comfy pajamas. Love the owl print I got this Christmas from Mike.
I am grateful for having Mike send me on a wild and crazy adventure with friends and family from all corners of the country 6 years ago so he could ask me to marry him. The Secret Adventure Race or SARS will always hold a place in my heart. SARS Pictures
I am grateful for snowy Saturdays. Love when there is a winter storm on a weekend day and we have nowhere else to be but home. Today went for a walk in the morning and cleared the driveway, roof and deck this afternoon. More clearing tomorrow for snowy Sunday!

I am glad we have many of the same hobbies and interests that we can enjoy together or on our own. I am also glad we are both able to engage in other hobbies independently from each other!
