Wonderful sunshiny above freezing day (finally)!
Loved watching the rainbow water droplets drip from the branches.
One of my coworker’s husband was available to shovel our roof (with very reasonable rates)…we were worried about tomorrow’s warm temperature and the possibility of rain. Though nothing probably would have happened…it’s nice to have peace of mind.
We went to dinner with one of Mike’s coworkers from England. We had a great time catching up, chatting and eating good food at The New England Tap House.
Had leftover potato soup and loaded it with veggies: broccoli, onion spinach and peppers. Mmmm.
I’m a worrier. At the I’m worried about the snow in the roof, ice dams, the house creaking, the furnace why is it on if the wood stoves are on? If I’ll be able to sleep through the night…
But, I get to worry about these things… because I have all these things, share all these things with Mike and everything else that goes with it.
Went to a game day in New Boston. Had a nice time catching up with folks we met at Steve and Dina’s wedding. They have goats and ducks and chickens. Should be fun to catch up and visit with the animals when it’s not -3 outside and -25 with the windchill!
Had some exciting things develop for later in the month…thanks to life is good playmakers! Planning for it, excited for it, waiting for it! PeaceLove Creators!
So grateful to have our house! Took some time this afternoon to rake the front roof…it’s hard to reach since it is 1.5 stories off a sloping hill down with snow that comes past my knees! We did our best…only could reach 1.5′. Some elimination of snow is better then none!
