Glad to be back…in my own bed…in my routine…
Day 272: 365 Grateful, home
Had a good day at home. Made breakfast, went for a walk around the neighborhood, did some yard work, vacuumed the living area talked to Dad driving back from FL and caught up on a couple TV shows.
Day 166: 365 Grateful, vacation
I am grateful for vacation and time away. Enjoyed putting many responsibilities on hold. Also grateful to be back and have a day to unwind before Monday!
Day 156: 365 Grateful, cooler than…
I am grateful that our home is cooler than our 1900’s third floor apartment that we lived in for 5 summers. Once it got hot, it stayed hot! Now the evenings cool down the house!!
Day 142: 365 Grateful, home
Today we had a chance to sleep in, prioritize some projects outside, run to Home Depot/Target, complete them, grill out and watch Game of Thrones. Oh and Elwyn fell asleep on the xbox remote:

Still sick today (I’m not used to this!) I am grateful to have a comfortable home to rest and try to get better!!
Day 135: 365 Grateful, clean home
We cleaned most of our home to host guests this weekend. I love the sense of calm this brings…wish we had the discipline to keep on top of it!!
Day 97: 365 Grateful, routine
I am grateful to be home after 9 days away and settle back into routine. I find comfort in the overall predictability of my role on a weekly cycle. Though the general vibe of the days back have been up and down, I appreciate the structure. I think Elwyn does too.
